Shiraz Bubbly

Sometimes i wonder if i have a problem....but seriously, if drunk posting was a hire-able skill, i'd be the forefront of that.

Although, I just drunk dialed my friend Berna AND i'm drunk IMing, and I have to super concentrate on making sure that I don't have typos...which is not v ery typical of me. Oh god, it took me 3 times to spell "typical'.

wtf.

So tonight, i'm drunk offf of a wonderful Bubbly Shiraz that my friend Tobi from Hawai'i who moved up here to Sunnyvale bought. Bevmo RULES

EDIT:

Oh jesus christ, i just drunk dialed a GIRL

Concert: Honda Civic Tour

Are Emo Bands the new Boy Band? I think so.

I got to go to my first real-i-paid-for-it concert @ the Warfield tonight. The Hush Sound, Phantom Planet, Motion City Soundtrack, & Panic At the Disco.

First of all, I confused where the Warfield was in comparison to the Orpheum, so I actually caught a Bart from Powell to Civic Center..meaning I actually had to walk back about 3 blocks instead of walking forward 1 block 'cuz my dumbass didn't think to check that before leaving the office.

Also, i've been here once, and that was to see Devo for Macworld. got into that for free using my charms...or something.

Anyway, i've been craving to see Panic At The Disco & Motion City Soundtrack for some time, so when I saw this show advertised, I jumped on the chance.

Very efficient show, Honda's definitely a good organizer. no late bands. everything was tight, there were even music videos in between (sprinkled with ads and stupid text displays of "scream if your ____"..and they spelled "you're" that way too..).

I would have loved the concert if it weren't for the fact that i was SURROUNDED by 12 year old screaming girls. You think i'm being overdramatic..but seriously..SURROUNDED. I wanted to cry/punch someone at the same time. I felt old.

I remember going to rock shows when I was 14 but I wasn't retarded, okay?

Anyway, great show, no regrets, just not my normal concert-going experience.

SF Rite of Passage: Dolores Park Movie Night

So recently, I went to Dolores Park for the first ever time.

Tonight, I went to the opening night of Dolores Park Movie Night (for this Season).

I wasn't planning on going, and was freaked to hear that it tends to get hella cold.

Good thing I either was too drunk to notice or it wasn't really that cold.

They played Fast Times At Ridgemont High, and I was super curious to see if they'd show Phoebe Cates' Famous Nude scene.

They Did.

But they put a "Hey buy some popcorn" slide during the sexSEXsex scene, which I thought was funny.

Anyway, so I'm home, all nice and toasty. and About to go to bed. I'm glad I did something that you're spost to do as a young twentysomething in the great land of Ess Eff.

EDIT:
KEANE: "oh fyi, it's 'dolores'"

FINE IF YOU WANT TO BE FACTUALLY CORRECT OR SOME SHIT

EDIT #2:
OH JESUS CHRIST, SOMEONE ELSE MADE SURE I KNEW HOW TO SPELLL ITTTTTTTTTTTT

THANKS BERNA

(i.e. FUCK YOU GUYS I RULE)

random thought

those weird shaped bandages are always leftover in the box until you actually NEED that weird shape.

And you only figure out what the hell that shape is for when you need it...

SF Goal Achieved: Fillmore Poster Acquired!

YES! After a year of obsessing over getting a poster from an artist that I love, I did JUST that Saturday night.

I rocked the Jason Mraz concert all by myself because noone else wanted to admit they loved him as much as I did. Okay, one guy did, but he forgot to buy his ticket =(

So anyway, rocked the show, and got my goddamn fillmore poster. I'm excited. I'll take a pic of it later.

Edit: I found the poster on Ebay. Man, those sharks are FAST
