This is NOT a price mistake.

omgomgomg.

Unlike the Amazon price mistake that I talked about here, this is really the price.

The Optimus Maximus Keyboard is now available. At the hefty price of
$1,589.99, you can have 113 little geekasm-causing screens under your tiny little fingers.

Why the hell does it cost more than most laptops? I think thinkgeek puts it best:

Yep. Time to take a second mortgage on your home or break into your kid's college fund. .....this amazing keyboard features a tiny screen on each key... that's 113 screens in all. What can you do with these tiny screens, you ask? Well, each key can change its image dynamically depending on what you're doing. Hold down SHIFT and all keys go uppercase. Run Photoshop and you can set it so each hotkey has an image representing its function. Set a key to monitor your CPU usage or display what iTunes track you are currently playing...
You can also DEMO what it looks like, but you have to use your mere mortal keyboard and just imagine the awesome power under your fingers.

Just in case you don't believe me about the price, here's a screen cap of the price on thinkgeek.

What were you doing when you were 12?

This is kinda badass. Read the comments that the writer pulled to the top too, it clarifies some things.

William Yuan, a seventh-grader from Portland, OR, developed a three-dimensional solar cell that absorbs UV as well as visible light. The combination of the two might greatly improve cell efficiency. William's project earned him a $25,000 scholarship and a trip to the Library of Congress to accept the award, which is usually given out for research at the graduate level.12-year-old Revolutionizes the Solar Cell, Sep 2008

When I was 12, I think that I was reading vampire books and spending all my time on my computer.

Oh wait, that was last night too.

hmm.

sometimes i wonder if i blog everytime i get drunk so that in the future at an AA meeting I can have a clear, concise timeline of when everything went spiraling down.

47% of them still bought it.

My friend Ryan pointed this out to me and I had some time to waste so I screenshot it and wanted to share it with you folks:

Hmm. I wouldn't get a videogame for the same price as a Scion...especially when it's rated "E" for Everyone.

What is the sound of one slow hand typing?

I love tangents.

me: can you mix vodka INTO wine?
me: think about it.
kristin: i have...i don't htink it woudl be good at all
kristin: about as bad as my spelling in the last sentence
me: my right hand types way faster than my left hand
me: so atrocities such as htink and nad happen all the time
kristin: hmmmm, interesting, I always associated atrocities with bigger things like the holocaust and genocide...however misspellings have now entered this category....my world is upside down
me: ...
me: now you make me feel like i have no perspective
me: like i have one eye.
kristin: or one slow hand

'loft'y goal.

dude, i don't know what it is about this blog, but it makes me want to use really bad puns.

Anyway, I now have a loft bed. Technically i don't have a mattress but I have the frame up and ready to roll.

I've always wanted one ever since I was a kid, and I've always wanted to have on in an apartment on the mainland.

done. and done. and done.

Fuck yeah.
